Daffodil Day Friday 23rd March 2018 Events

Ambit Financial Services Coffee Morning at their offices in the M7 Business Park in Naas (10am - 2 pm).

Crossings Toyota on the Sallins Road, Naas and Monasterevin Motors are launching their inaugural “Daffodil Drive” this Friday, to raise funds for The Irish Cancer Society. The first ever Daffodil Drive coincides with Daffodil Day and will also run on Saturday.  Both dealerships are donating €10 to the Irish Cancer Society for every test drive taken on both days.

Foróige will be hosting a Citizenship Programme for 14-16 year olds in Newbridge Family Resource Centre on Wednesdays 2-4pm. The programme explores ways that young people can contribute positively to their community. For more information see

Newbridge Family resource centre are adding a sensory garden. It will begin on Wednesday February 21st and run through until August. The group will meet every Wednesday morning from 10am to 2pm.  Please call or text Luke on 086 4611332 or drop into the centre to find out more.

Barretstown, which provides specialised camps for children with serious illnesses and their families, hosts its fifth annual Dublin Mountains Challenge on Sunday, May 27th.   Choice of two available routes:  The 42km trek from Tallaght Stadium to Shankill or The 24km trek from Tallaght Stadium to Three Rock.  All funds raised go to Barretstown.

Sallins Running club meet Wednesday evenings at 8pm and Saturday mornings at 9am in car park of Sallins train station. New members of all abilities are welcome.
