Jan 17 2012 Between 2001 and 2007, Clane Hospital used PIP implants in clients. The product was manufactured in France and approved by a Notified Body in Germany (TUV Rheinland). Having received a CE mark it could be freely placed on any market in the EU, including Ireland. It has since emerged that these implants have been known to erupt. Sean Leydon, Chief Executive of Clane Hospital, joined Clen Ryan to offer advise to those women who may be affected.
