19th Dec 2011 Presentation Girls School, Maynooth. We spoke to principal Maria Fitzgerald. The children from 4th, 5th and 6th class sung Love Shone Down and Abbey Doyle from 5th class sung Oh Holy Night. The choir practice every second Tuesday after school under the guidance of Grainne Lohan.

15 Dec Scoil Na Naomh Uilig, Rickardstown, Newbridge. Tomorrow, Friday is the official opening of the school. This is the biggest group so far with 250 children from 2nd to 6th class taking part.They sung ‘Love Shove Down’ and ‘from a Distance’. In ‘From a distance’ we had pupils playing drums. We spoke to Principal Noreen Duggan.

15 Dec St.Patricks National School, Morristown, Newbridge. Almost 100 pupils from 2nd right up to 6th class sang ‘Mary had a baby’ and ‘Something is happening’. The school are also taking part in the peace proms in March next year. Joe O’Connor gave us an insight into the school.

13 Dec 2011. Scoil Bhride, Kilcullen. 35 children from 4th/5th and 6th class sung a medley of songs! They hardly drew breath. The children are part of the school choir who practice Monday after school and on a Friday. Teacher Miriam Nolan spoke to Kfm.

13 Dec 2011. St.Peters National School Monasterevin. 23 boys from between 2nd and 6th class under the guidance of Siobhan O’Meara. Gary Morrissey sung on the ‘Alleulia’ song, Gary went home sick on the morning of the recording but he wanted to come in to take part so his mother dropped him back in, I think you will all be grateful to Gary’s mother when you hear him sing.
