Taxi drivers in the capital are being forced out of the market by the price of their motor insurance.
There are a growing number of complaints from drivers who can't make a profit because of the price of their premiums - while others can't even get a quote to get started.
Dublin City Councillor Paul McAuliffe says if we don't do something we're going to be facing the type of taxi-shortage that existed before de-regulation:
