Listen: Mullen & McGrath Raise Concerns About Processes Undertaken By The Committee On The 8th Amendment.

: 10/12/2017 - 18:31

Independent Senator Ronan Mullen and Deputy Mattie McGrath say they have serious concerns about the one-sided nature of the process in relation to the upcoming abortion referendum.

Both are members of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on the 8th Amendment, whose membership also includes Kildare North TDs, Bernard Durkan and Catherine Murphy..

Senator Mullen and Deputy McGrath say they are working in a "hostile" environment, and that pro-life debate is under-represented at government level.

Senator Mullen says the process is skewed and unfair.
