Kildare GAA Results/Fixtures

The Kildare minor hurlers have reached the All-Ireland Minor B Hurling semi final, after beating last year’s finalists Kerry yesterday by 1-14 to 1-12.

Kerry led 0-9 to 0-6 at half-time and went five points ahead in the 2nd half before Kildare recovered for a 2 point win.

Kildare will play Meath in the All-Ireland semi-final next Saturday.

The U21's received a walkover from Armagh in their All Ireland B quarter final. They will play Wicklow in the semi final, also next Saturday.


In the Courtyard Hotel Leixlip intermediate football championship yesterday, Kill 3-6 Kilcullen 1-7; Sallins 3-17 Castlemitchelly 1-9

In the Tom Cross Junior championship, Caragh 1-17 Ballykelly 1-7; Rheban 1-13 Rathcoffey 0-11.


The MD Sports Senior football league finals take place today in St. Conleth’s Park:

Division 1, Moorefield v Naas at 3.15, preceded by the division 2 final: Round Towers v St. Kevins at 1.30.

In the Courtyard Hotel, Leixlip Intermediate football championship:  Nurney v Clogherinkoe at 5, followed by Ballyteague v Suncroft at 6.30.
