Listen: Amnesty Says Ireland's Govt. Must Do More To Uphold Human Rights.

The government's being urged to do more to uphold human rights.

Amnesty's annual report for 2017 has highlighted the State's failure to adequately address historical abuse against women and girls, such as at Mother and Baby Homes.

The lack of access to and information about abortion was also criticised - as were the standards of accommodation in direct provision centres.
