Following their draw with Carlow yesterday, Kildare hurlers final game will be home to Westmeath on March 20th at 12.30. 

Carlow are home to Meath on the same day at the same time. 

If Meath lose they will be relegated, and Kildare will stay in Division 2A irrespective of the result of their game against Westmeath.

The Kildare men’s Under 20 footballers played Meath in the John Kearns Cup on Saturday in Hawkfield.

The full-time score Kildare 2-12 Meath 1-8.

Kildare women were home against Wicklow in Division 3B yesterday in Hawkfield.

Final score: Kildare 2-11 Wicklow 1-14

Kildare had already qualified for the Division 3 league semi final.

Kildare u16s began the defence of their Leinster A title with a win on Saturday against Laois in Emo.

Kildare were always in control, leading 1-8 to 0-3 at half time

Next up for Kildare is an away game against Meath on March 19th 

The u14s were in Leinster championship action in blitz day 2 in Carlow Town Hurling club.

Kildare 3-1 Meath 1-3

Next Saturday in the final blitz they will play Louth, Carlow, Kilkenny, Offaly and Longford.

Munster loosehead prop, Athy native Jeremy Loughman, has been called up to the Irish squad for the first time

Jordan Larmour is ruled out for the remainder of the Six Nations.

Iain Henderson returns to the squad having completed 80 minutes for Ulster against Cardiff at the weekend.

The Ireland squad reassembled last night at Carton House, Maynooth.

Next Saturday, at 4.45 Ireland play England in Twickenham

On Friday, Wales home to France at 8 o’clock

On Saturday, Italy home to Scotland at 2.15
