Naas Hospital Choir Gala Concert

 in St. Bridget’s Church, the Curragh

This Thursday 1st of June

in recognition of all NGH staff and HSE staff who currently have, or have come through, Breast Cancer.

Two other choirs performing also: The Liffey Choir and HSE Harmonies Choir.

Proceeds to the Oncology and Palliative Care Department of Naas General Hospital & Cuisle Cancer Support, Sallins.

Admission €15.

Athy Road Closures This Saturday June 3rd

Due to Triathy 

The main Athy to Carlowroad between Athy and Maganey Cross (Three Counties Pub) will be closed to vehicular traffic from 07:45am to 4pm s on Saturday, June 3rd

Emergency access and egress will be maintained at all times

Temporary Road Closure  is also required along

- The road between Levitstown and Kilkea (facing Kilkea Castle)
- A section of the R418 between Kilkea and Castledermot
- The road between Mullaghreelan and the Y-junction at Castleroe West;
- The road between the Y-junction at Castleroe West and Beaconstown Cross.
- The Shed Road linking Beaconstown with the R417

Run for Eve- VHI Mini Marathon Sarcoma Cancer, Ireland


In memory of Celbridge’s Eve McMahon, who passed in June 2022 in her very early 20’s

As Eve’s one-year anniversary approaches, friends have decided to run the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon in her memory.

A GoFundMe page will raise funds in support Sarcoma Cancer Ireland the only non-profit organisation in the Republic that exclusively supports sarcoma patients.
