THE NEWS ROLE is an important one, requiring:

• A high standard of News generation, scripting and on-air reading

• Scripting and on-air reading of hourly sports bulletins.

• Social Media/Website updating: text and video.

• Excellent News production values

There will be opportunities for live contributions to the station’s anchor current affairs programme: Kildare Today.

The successful candidate for the full-time position will have a 3^rd level Media qualification and/or journalism experience relevant to the role.

Part Time Bookkeeper

The company

Kinsella Corrigan & Associates are a new Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisors who have recently joined together to set up a Chartered Accountants, Tax & Business Advisors Office in Naas Town. Both Accountants bring a wealth of experience and knowledge together.

Role summary:

Reporting to Senior Accountant, the person will need to be front facing with clients, have excellent customer service skills, to be able to prioritise tasks, communicate effectively while completing Bookkeeping responsibilities for our clients.

The role is part time. 3 Days per Week  

The main responsibilities in this role will include:  

• Meeting Clients in a Front of House capacity
• Communicating effectively with clients in dealing with their accounts & queries
• Posting client and office transactions and maintaining accurate financial records on a weekly basis
• Ensuring all financial records and client fund handling adhere to Accountancy Body regulations and Revenue requirements
• Running month end and year end and reporting requirements
• Posting creditor invoices and payments
• Posting debtor invoices and compiling fee list report
• Process payroll and associated Revenue returns
• Process and file VAT returns

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 6 or Level 7 in Accounting Technician or similar qualification in Bookkeeping is essential
• At least 2-5 years in a similar working environment or Industry
• Customer Service Ability in a front facing role is a key requirement
• Full competency with filing Vat & Revenue Returns
• Full competency with Accountancy Package & Payroll System
• Ability to run accounting reports
• Good communication skills
• Good collaboration skills
