Following Lord Dyson's report
The BBC Board is to carry out a review of the effectiveness of the broadcaster's "editorial policies and governance".
It follows a damning report, which found retired journalist, Martin Bashir, used deceitful methods to secure his interview with Princess Diana, in 1995.

In a statement, the board says it accepts the Dyson report's findings "in full".
It also says sorry to "all those affected by the failings identified".
