The British Prime Minister has announced an independent public inquiry into the UK government's handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, will begin in Spring 2022.
This afternoon Boris Johnson delivered the news to MPs in the Houses of Parliament.
It has been a long time coming, but the Prime Minister has confirmed there will be a statutory public inquiry into the handling of the Covid pandemic.

The British PM said the UK government "fully committed to learning the lessons at every stage of this crisis".
Mr. Johnson noted the inquiry evidence will be taken under oath.
