101,240 people have been admitted to hospital without a bed so far this year, including 3,066 at Naas General Hospital.

The INMO says safe staffing underpinned by legislation is "urgently required in order to protect patients."

582 people are waiting for beds today, with Limerick University Hospital once again the worst affected by overcrowding, with 82 patients on trolleys.

10 patients are on trolleys in Naas today.

The INMO says it's "shocking that the necessary measures have not been taken by the HSE and individual hospital groups to alleviate this level of overcrowding."
