10 people on trolleys Wednesday morning
As of 8am this morning 19 people were waiting on trolleys in Naas General Hospital.
It's a near 100% increase on yesterday, Wednesday's figure at 10.
According to the Irish nurses & Midwives Organisation 549 patients admitted to Irish Hospitals this morning, were awaiting beds.
The situation in neighbouring hospitals:
- Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise: 6
- Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore: 1
- Tallaght University Hospital: 20
- St. James' Hospital: 29
