Ireland’s first age-friendly housing estate has launched in Castlefen, Sallins.
Chair of the Castlefen Residents Association, John McLoughlin, said it offers a blueprint for future developments, ensuring that housing estates are inclusive and adaptable to the needs of older residents.
He said it's a proud day for the county.
