Civil & Public Servants Want New Laws To Protect Remote Workers.

There's a call on the Government to bring in laws to protect workers who are remote working.

The Association of Higher Civil and Public Servants will make the call at its Annual Delegate Conference today.

It says there are significant benefits to continuing blended and remote working for its members.

But AHCPS General Secretary, Ciaran Rohan says workers need a mix of working from home and in the office:


There's calls for Intreo offices to be included in laws on mask wearing.

The Association of Higher and Civil Public Servants say there no rules within the centre on staff and members of the public needing to wear masks.

Intreo offices are operating reduced opening hours due to the pandemic.
