People believe there are better ways to spend the 9-million euro
A leading child protection expert has questioned the government's proposal to spend 9-million euro on school phone pouches.
The proposal is part of budget 2025 and is an attempt to keep students off their phones during the school day.
Fiona Jennings, Head of Policy and Public Affairs at ISPCC, says the money would be better spent on teaching children how to regulate their phone use.
