Newbridge man, Brendan Cawley, has been named as the referee for the All-Ireland Football final between Kerry and Donegal
The game is to take place on Sunday the 27th of July in Croke Park.
The Sarsfields clubman took charge of last season's All-Ireland semi-final between Galway and Donegal.
The last Kildare native to referee an All-Ireland football final was Mick Monahan who officiated the 2005 final between Tyrone and Kerry.
