Gardaí in Naas have arrested a suspect following the theft of cash from an elderly man as he was leaving a bank on Main Street.
The incident happened on the 9th of January, when the man - believed to be in his 80s - was approached by the culprit, who asked him for the time before stealing the money.

Gardaí attended the scene and made an arrest.
The stolen money was recovered and returned to the victim.
