It has since emerged that John Dillon, secretary of the Kildare Hunt, said he is not long in his role and was not aware of the policies around dogs entering land without permission.

Kfm understands that no apology has been forthcoming for a woman left traumatised after up to 30 fox hunting hounds burst through her garden in pursuit of an animal.

Agnes Wright and her sister Lily live in Suncroft.

Kfm first reported how they were listening to music on Saturday morning when the dogs stormed her garden.

Ms Wright said her sister Lily, who has cerebral palsy, has not been the same since the frightening incident happened.

She said no apology has been forthcoming from the Kildare Hunt and that she can  not get the shrilling cries she heard that morning out of her head.

It has since emerged that John Dillon, secretary of the Kildare Hunt, said he is not long in his role and was not aware of the policies around dogs entering land without permission.

He also said there would be hooping and hollering and said no fox was killed on the family's land, something that Ms Wright disputes.

She said the sounds she heard were of an animal in distress.
