More time will be given in the Leaving and Junior cert exams for students with additional needs.

Cathal Crowe, who is Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Education and Youth, said the measure under the RACE scheme will be in place for the State exams next year.
Although it is a pilot scheme, it will be available to all students who need it.
