It comes as the hospital is experiencing a "very busy period"
Naas General Hospital Emergency Department are asking people with "non-emergency health concerns" to consider using other healthcare options where possible today (12 October).
It comes as the hospital is experiencing a "very busy period".
In a statement to Kfm News, it says there has been "significantly higher presentations" in recent days and a large number of patients requiring admission.
Hospital management have advised people, where appropriate, to contact alternative options such as a local pharmacist, GP, local Injury Unit (Naas Hospital Injury Unit) or GP out-of-hours service (KDOC).
The Naas Hospital Injury Unit is located less than five minutes from the hospital and treat broken bones, dislocations, minor burns and many other minor injuries. For more information on what is treated, their opening hours and location, people are asked to visit their website.
