Sean O'Sullivan says: verification for AI written content is a big problem

This year's BT Young Scientist winner has placed second in Europe at the EU Contest for Young Scientists.

Sean O'Sullivan, who first won for his AI verification project in January, was competing against 250 young scientists from 40 countries.

From Coláiste Chiaráin in Limerick, the 6th year student's project researched a reliable method for academics to determine "true" human authorship against the rise of ChatGPT.
