UK study finds large events as safe as going to a shopping centre.

There are hopes that thousands of people could attend football and GAA matches from July.

It comes after a new UK study found large events could be as safe as going to a shopping centre.

Paul O’Donoghue reports.

And an expert in virology says there could be up to 20,000 fans allowed at this year’s All-Ireland finals.

University College Cork professor Liam Fanning says he expects test events to be held in the coming weeks.
