UK Denies Claims By Russia That "Warning Shots" Were Fired At Royal Navy Destroyer.

Ministry of Defence argues HMS Defender was passing through Ukrainian territory

The UK is denying claims from Russia that "warning shots" were fired at a Royal Navy destroyer which entered its waters in the Black Sea.

Moscow says four bombs were also dropped near the ship by a warplane.

But the Ministry of Defence argues HMS Defender was passing through Ukrainian territory - and that Russian forces were on a "gunnery exercise".

Sky's foreign affairs editor Deborah Haynes says the situation is tense.
