A male entered the store, purchased a scratchcard, then reached over the counter and threatened staff with a screwdriver.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in Naas town on Monday evening at approximately 5.15pm.
The incident occurred at the Maxol Service Station on Sallins road.

The suspect is described as medium height, with black hair and a beard, wearing a grey tracksuit and black runners.
He is also reported to have a small tattoo on his hand.
Anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have seen a man matching this description running along the Sallins Road, is asked to come forward.
Gardai said staff were left badly shaken following the incident.
