Gardái in Kildare and Naas believe the two incidents are linked as the same van was used
Gardaí believe that the burglary of Penney's Warehouse in Great Connell, Newbridge and the burglary at Dominos Depot in Toughers Industrial Estate, Naas are linked, as the same van was used in both incidents.
The first incident took place last Thursday, at approximately 9.30pm, in which a white transit van with three males on board entered Penney's Warehouse in Great Connell, Newbridge via the front entrance.
While inside, they stole a large amount of copper, with a value of €9,000.
The three males left via the front entrance.
The white transit van has a registration of VO11DVU.
The second incident occurred last Thursday, at approximately 8.30pm, in which a white van with three males entered the Dominos Depot in Toughers Industrial Estate, Naas through an automatic gate that was not working correctly at the time.
The men broke into a store building, but took nothing.
However, before leaving, they stoke 4-5 empty stacked trolleys from the yard and left in the white van via the automatic gate.
The white van also had a registration number of VO11DVU.
Gardaí are looking at CCTV from both Penney's Warehouse in Newbridge and Dominos Depot in Naas.
