Aaron Fahey (24) is the son of horse trainer Paul Fahey.
The family of a young Kildare man are just €2k off meeting their €70k goal to “make adaptations to his home in order for it to be accessible and give him the support that he needs to live an independent life.”
Aaron Fahey (24) is the son of trainer Paul Fahey.
He suffered a "life-changing spinal cord injury" following a farming accident last month.
His three sisters Emma, Tara, and Orla have set up a GoFundMe page.
They said: "Aaron's family are setting up this Go Fund Me requesting your support in putting all of this in place. We want Aaron to live the life of any other young person. He is a positive and resilient person, and he deserves the best chance at living a normal life."
They said he will also need to have his car modified to maintain his independence.
