The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning
Gardai say investigations are ongoing following a fire at a house in the Osberstown Court estate in Sallins.
The incident occurred at approximately 1am yesterday morning.
It's understood the fire was started deliberately and Gardai described it as "an incident of criminal damage".
No injuries were reported but Kfm understands that a pet dog died in the blaze.
