It will replace the existing store in the Millbank area
Lidl Ireland has been given planning permission to build a new €4.5 million store in Sallins.
The new store will involve the demolition of the existing Lidl building in the Millbank area of the village.
The new store will be single-storey and will measure 2,356 square metres, 611 square metres larger than the current store.
Included in the plans is the provision for a cafe with outdoor seating, as well as the redevelopment of the car parking spaces.
The project will be overseen by Darmody Architects.
