Councillor Tim Durkan pressed the council for a comprehensive update, along with a precise timeline for when construction will kick off.
In response to Durkan's inquiry, it has been revealed that the contractors who vied for the construction of Maynooth's new fire station have been formally notified of the results of the tender analysis process.
This phase, which allowed for any challenges to the tender process, concluded on April 24, 2024.
