Passengers were left terrified when the 115 Dublin to Enfield bus left the road on the M4, near Junction 6. at approximately 5.50pm on April 30th.
Peak traffic congestion on the M4 meant some locals were stranded on a busy motorway for two hours after a bus left the road.
Bus Eireann has confirmed that investigations are continuing into how the bus carrying locals swerved onto a dual carriageway.
Passengers were left terrified when the 115 Dublin to Enfield bus left the road on the M4, near Junction 6. at approximately 5.50pm on April 30th.
A spokesperson for Bus Eireann said: "Thankfully, no injuries to our passengers or driver have been reported to Bus Éireann. There was also no damage caused to the vehicle or other vehicles."
They added: "All passengers were safely transferred onto other Bus Éireann services. Unfortunately, due to peak time traffic congestion on the N4 it did take some time for these replacement vehicles to reach the location. Bus Éireann apologies to affected passengers and motorists for the inconvenience caused."
