The order is being signed by Tánaiste Simon Harris today ensure an ATM machine is located within 10km of most homes and businesses.

The Minister for Finance has introduced a law which will enable sustained access to cash.

He said the measures will have an impact in rural areas.

CEO of Irish Rural Link, Seamus Boland, said cash is still king.
