Pension Payments Due Tomorrow Will Not Be Paid Early, While Post Will Not Be Delivered Due To Storm

Some people due payments tomorrow had been contacting Kfm to confirm if they can collect them today instead.

Pension payments and other social welfare supports due to be paid tomorrow will not be paid today.

That's according to a spokesperson for An Post, who said some post offices could open tomorrow after red warnings are lifted but it is an "evolving" situation.

Pensioners due payment tomorrow will now have to collect their payments on Saturday or next week.

There will also be no post delivered tomorrow.

Depending on road conditions and power outages, An Post is planning to run letter and parcel deliveries nationwide on Saturday and post offices will open as normal from 9am – 1pm.
