RSA's Refusal To Appear Before Public Accounts Committee Described As "Breathtaking" By Kildare North TD, Catherine Murphy

The RSA - which hasn't met with the committee since 2018 - has declined an invitation to appear next month.

The Road Safety Authority's claim that it's too busy to appear before the Public Accounts Committee has been described as "breathtaking".

It says the Comptroller and Auditor General gave a clear audit opinion on its accounts.

Committee member and SNorth Kildare TD Catherine Murphy says that's good to see, but it must also answer detailed questions from TDs.
