Upgrades include heat pumps, LED lighting, ventilation systems, and EV charging points.
Six schools across the county will undergo energy retrofit works to reach a BER rating of at least B.
The schools are:
- Killashee National School
- Allen National School
- Robertstown National School
- Scoil Naisiunta Bhride, Clane
- Kilberry National School
- Kilmead National School
Upgrades include heat pumps, LED lighting, ventilation systems, and EV charging points.
Senator Fiona O'Loughlin said: "This is not only good for the environment but will also enhance the learning environments for students and working conditions for teachers and staff."
