Parent and toddler groups across Kildare are being invited to apply for Government funding.
€350,000 is available in grants for Parent and Toddler Groups nationwide.
The funding can be used for toys, books, equipment, snacks and activities such as arts, crafts and music.
It can also support parenting courses and paediatric first-aid training.
Groups in Kildare can apply through the County Childcare Committee from today.

The scheme also supports Buggy Walking Groups, aimed at helping parents and young children connect within their local community.
