A 29 year old remains in a critical condition following the assault
A 19-year-old man has been charged with the serious assault of a man in Cork.
19-year-old Ricardo Hoey, of Ardcarrig in Carrigaline appeared before Mallow District Court earlier this morning.
A 29-year-old man was seriously injured following an assault in the Glenwood Estate in Carrigaline on Wednesday evening.
He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Mr Hoey was remanded in custody to appear in court again next Thursday the 5th of January.
