Government to reduce petrol by 17c and diesel by 22c per litre in temporary relief until May
Government measures to ease the cost of petrol and diesel will come into effect from midnight tonight.
Minister's are set to sign off on measures that will ultimately cut the cost at the fuel pumps by 17 cent a litre for petrol and 22 cent for diesel.
The relief package will only remain in effect until May, amid hopes the Iran conflict causing the price hikes may have ended by then.
Measures will also be outlined later for hauliers and bus companies.
