Extensive damage caused but pharmacy remains open
A pharmacy in Mayo is open for business today - despite a truck ramming into the front of the building in the early hours of this morning.
A truck passing through the Charlestown area at about between 2.30 and 3am collided with a traffic island before crashing into O'Donnell's Total Health Pharmacy on Market Square, causing extensive damage.
The driver was taken Mayo University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí say local diversions are in place this morning.
