Maura Redmond, (née Fingleton), Moatfield, Athy.
Maura passed away peacefully on 6th March, 2026 in the wonderful care of the staff of Cloverlodge Nursing Home, Athy.
Predeceased by her husband Denis, her parents Jimmy and Molly and son-in-law Sham.
Maura will be sadly missed by her son and daughters Mag (Mick), Caroline (John), Kieran (Sandra), Jackie (Vincent), her grandchildren A.J., Nikita, Michael, Adam, Ciara, Ashleigh, Lisa, Cody, Ross, Ryan and Abbie, great grandchildren, brothers Seamie and Mick (Annie), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Maura will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy, (R14 NX80) on Sunday 8th March, 2026 from 4pm until conclusion of the Rosary at 7pm.
Removal by Thompson's Funeral Directors on Monday morning to arrive at St. Ita’s Church, Kilmead for 11am Requiem Mass on Monday 9th March, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
