One of the Premier League's top-scorers
Jermain Defoe has announced his retirement from football.
Former West Ham, Tottenham and England striker scored over 300 career goals.
The 39-year-old is ninth on the list of all-time Premier League top scorers.
He began his professional career as a 17 year-old playing with West Ham.
Defoe began this season at Rangers, before moving back to Sunderland, where he's failed to score in the current campaign.
