John Costello has announced that he will retire as Dublin GAA’s Chief Executive Officer this October.
Costello has been the CEO of Dublin GAA since 1994.
During that tenure Dublin GAA won won nine All-Ireland senior football titles and the Leinster Senior Hurling championship in 2013.
He also oversaw a huge growth in Gaelic games in the capital through a number of initiatives, including the strategic plan 'The Blue Wave' in 2011.
