Luton Town Confirm Promotion To The Premier League

Luton edged Coventry 6-5 on penalties in the Championship play-off final.

Luton Town will return to the top flight of English football after 31 years away having edged Coventry 6-5 on penalties in the Championship play-off final.

Luton will join Burnley and Sheffield United in the Premier League next season.

Captain Tom Lockyer was stretchered off after collapsing early in the first half of the game, which finished 1-all after extra-time at Wembley.

Luton Manager Rob Edwards says, Lockyer's being well looked after.
