Its the first time in 2 months he's made the cut at a PGA tournament.

For the first time in two months, Rory McIlroy's made the cut at a PGA Tour golf tournament.

He shot 66 at the Wells Fargo Championship to put himself on 4-under-par at the halfway point.

That's two shots behind three joint leaders - American duo Gary Woodland and Patrick Rodgers, and England's Matt Wallace.

Waterford's Seamus Power is one-over into the weekend with Offaly's Shane Lowry two-over.
