Kildare hurlers will again play Division 1B hurling in 2027

Yesterday, Kildare were away to Carlow and a win would guarantee survival in Division 1B for next year's League.

Leading by 17 to 8 points at half time, they added 2nd half goals by Daire Guerin, Cathal MaCabe and Muiris Curtin.

Final score: Kildare 3-22 Carlow 1-19.

Despite Kildare's dominance, it could have been much closer but for two great 2nd half saves by goalie Paddy McKenna.

They join Southampton in the quarter-finals after they beat Fulham 2-1.

Leeds beat Norwich 3 nil.

Celtic and Rangers fans clashed on the pitch after their Scottish Cup quarter-final at Ibrox. 

Celtic supporters jumped out of the stands after their 4-2 penalty shootout victory, and they were then confronted by their Glasgow rivals.
