More Music Sportsbeat 2pm-9pm. Commentary of Kildare v Offaly football (6pm) and Kildare v Dublin Hurling (7.30pm), in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown, Premier League, URC, AIL Naas & MU Barnhall and great music.

Kildare footballers began their Division 2 League campaign away to Tyrone in Omagh on Saturday evening coming away with a draw.

This evening, they’re home to Offaly in Cedral St. Conleth’s Park at 6pm

Kfm’s commentary will be in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown, with Ger McNally and Philie Wolfe

The hurlers open their their League also this evening  away to Dublin in Parnell Park at 7.30pm.

Kfm will have commentary of that game, with Seamus Dillon,  immediately following the football game.

Kfm is awarding a player of the match for each of this season’s Kildare football and hurling league games, sponsored by Frank McMahon and Co Accountants Kildare, Naas and Dublin

The Kildare women footballers began their Division 2 League campaign away to Cork last weekend with an excellent draw.

On Sunday, they’re home to Armagh who lost by 12 points to Waterford last weekend.  The game has been switched to Hawkfield

The traditional curtain-raiser to the League of Ireland men's season takes place this evening.

Premier Division champions and FAI Cup holders Shamrock Rovers take on Derry City in the President's Cup.

Kick-off at Tallaght Stadium is at 5 o'clock.


RUGBY

Munster's second half comeback came up just short in their URC trip to Glasgow Warriors last night.

Clayton McMillan's side trailed by 28 points to 5 at half-time, but came away with a four try bonus point in a 31-22 defeat at Scotstoun.


RACING

Day One of the Dublin Racing Festival at Leopardstown has been cancelled, following an early-morning inspection.

The track has been deemed unfit for racing, due to additional heavy rain overnight.

The seven-race card has been moved to Bank Holiday Monday - with a further inspection due at 8am tomorrow.

As a result, Punchestown's scheduled Monday card is switched to next Wednesday.
