South Kildare Beekeepers Association Beginners Beekeeping Course
Aimed at anyone with an interest in bees, pollinators, starting beekeeping, no prior experience needed.
Venue: The Auld Sheebeen, Athy, R14 RY62

March 4th - Monthly Club Meeting
March 11 - The Auld Shebeen - Forage - what bees need
March 18 - Managing for Honey Production and Feeding
March 25 - The Auld Shebeen - A Year in the Apiary
April 1st - Monthly Club Meeting -Swarm Control
April 8th - Practicals Workshop ( Location TBC )
What is learned in the classroom then moves to the club's beehives over the summer

Beginners also get membership of South Kildare beekeepers for a year and can attend all club meetings events and lectures and are covered by the clubs insurance policy for all beekeeping activities

The 3rd Annual HOPE Fashion Show
