Germans to head to polls on 26th September
The Christian Democratic Union Party, has suffered a downward trend in the polls, with just 4 weeks to go until the German elections.
The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel is current party leader.
Ms. Merkel will not be continuing her role, with Armin Laschet taking over.
However the CDU & the Christian Social Union party (CSU) have fallen in popularity, below their coalition partners the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).
Germans will head to the polls on September 26th.
