Britain's Foreign Secretary, Liz Truss, says she wants to protect peace and stability in Northern Ireland.
It comes ahead of her meeting with the European Commission vice-president, Maros Sefcovic, in Brussels today.
The pair are holding talks on the Northern Ireland Protocol, which has caused trading difficulties between Britain and the North.
Minister Truss says she is determined to reach a solution to the problem.
Look forward to meeting @MarosSefcovic in Brussels today for further talks on the Protocol.
